Welcome to Bubbi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bubbi mobile application and related services ("App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Bubbi.
3. License to use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable app store rules.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App or its content except as permitted by law.
4. Subscriptions, payments, and refunds
Bubbi offers a free tier and optional Bubbi Premium subscriptions (weekly or monthly). Premium features may include unlimited recordings, Baby Diary, trends, reminders, and additional tools.
- Payments and subscriptions are processed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
- Subscriptions may renew automatically until you cancel in your device's subscription settings.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Apple or Google subscription management flow.
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the relevant platform.
5. Acceptable use and prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Use Bubbi in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to interfere with the security, integrity, or proper functioning of the App.
- Misuse the microphone permission or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Rely on Bubbi as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or prenatal care.
6. Medical disclaimer
Bubbi provides bonding and entertainment features. Heartbeat detection results may vary and may not always be accurate or detectable. Any readings shown in the App (including BPM) are estimates and not clinical measurements.
Always consult a healthcare provider with questions or concerns about your pregnancy or your baby's health.
7. Your content (user-generated content)
You retain ownership of recordings, notes, and photos you create in Bubbi.
To the extent necessary to provide App functionality (for example, displaying content within the App and enabling your chosen sharing actions), you grant Bubbi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content within the App.
8. Privacy
Your use of Bubbi is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee that heartbeat detection will work in all circumstances, that any estimate will be accurate, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Consent to share in connection with refunds (Apple/Google)
By using the App and making in-app purchases, you consent to the sharing of data regarding your usage of purchased content with the applicable app store, as required to process refund requests, in accordance with platform policies.
11. Intellectual property
The App and all related trademarks, logos, and content are the property of Bubbi and its licensors (unless otherwise stated). You may not copy or use them without permission.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bubbi and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
To the extent permitted by law, Bubbi's total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for Bubbi Premium in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $10 if you use the free tier.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to you, where you reside, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
